Dr. Tyson E. Lewis

Dr. Tyson E. Lewis is a professor of Art Education at the University of North Texas where he teaches courses in posthuman/postanimal phenomenology, critical theory, educational philosophy, and dialogue and inquiry into the arts. He has published articles on these and other topics in journals

such as New German Critique, Angelaki, Cultural Critique, Symploke, Thesis Eleven, Berlin Journal of Critical Theory, and Journal of Italian Philosophy. He is also author of numerous books such as Walter Benjamin’s Antifascist Education: From Riddles to Radio (SUNY Press, 2020) and, with Peter Hyland, Studious Drift: Movements and Protocols for a Postdigital Education (University of Minnesota Press, 2022)
